Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

Unlike our usual Christmas activities... this year seem to have a calm sense about it and we were able to enjoy the true meaning of Christmas... Our Savior Jesus Christ. I think the Lord knows when you need to slow down thru the hustle and bustle and take a moment to ponder and be grateful for the blessings that are so easily overlooked. My heart is always softened by the still small voice reassuring me of the blessings that I have and will continue to look forward to. I will thank my Father in Heaven everyday for that wonderful feeling. Gratitude knows no bounds and it should be felt daily...

We started off Christmas morning sleeping in and then trying to make a mad dash to get ready for church and open some gifts before heading out... too funny! Being in the chapel and hearing the music on Christmas day was a poignant reminder of the where we need to be in our lives... I will be forever grateful for the Gospel.

I want my son to know that Christmas is about GIVING... giving of your heart, your time and your service to others who need it. I want him to follow the example of Christ in knowing that if you give your heart and its the only thing left, HE will bless you with more... it may seem like a lot but theres so much to gain, if we gave like HE gave, we will be blessed in the eternities. Thank you Moleni bros for the reminder.

I miss and love my family near and far... especially my dad during the holidays but its all good, I know hes in the best company imaginable... just a couple of pics of my son and my wonderful mom! love you all!

Maxx got tons of gifts and he loves every single thing... he realizes that he cant play with everything at once, but let me tell you, it doesnt stop him from trying. Hes definitely going to be a great multi-tasker!!! I hope =)
Hes my present year-round and I am blessed to have a wonderful son who is a spitting image of his papa... he loves to wear slippers, eat good food, sing and dance, and enjoy life as much as he can. He is one in a million as well just like my dad... blessed beyond measure, im one lucky girl!!!!

Eternal Companions

There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of this man... he is always in my thoughts, prayers and heart! I remember him always being my #1 fan and what more could a girl ask for. I feel truly blessed beyond words because I was able to call him DAD. His life here on earth and in the eternities, I know will continue to be great and a true testament of his undeniable faith in our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ. He taught me how to love unconditionally and to remember to see the best in others, especially when they cant. He showed me to appreciate the little things because when the big things come, it will be icing on the cake. His example is never-ending, and he continues to bless my life each day with his spirit. Dad, words could never express the gratitude in my heart for your wonderful soul... I know that Heavenly Father blessed me so abundantly because you were apart of my life! I will forever be grateful for that. Thank you for our wonderful family and for the example you are and will continue to be. Thank you for loving me when I couldnt love myself and letting me know that I can do ANYTHING with the Lords help. Thank you for loving the Gospel with all your heart, might, mind and soul and for sharing your testimony with me. I know that I will cherish every word! I know you were an ordinary man with extraordinary talents... and the world may never know your worth but it doesnt matter because the worth of your soul is GREAT in the Light and Sight of GOD!

Time flies... or is it just me?

Thanksgiving already? I swear, I dont know where the days begin or end... All is know is that I am grateful to see another day to experience the TEST of life of course and thankful for my countless and continuous blessings that I seem so unworthy of most days... for now its the little things... a job, a car, gas, food, sleep, and every little thing that I overlook most days! but the BIG things are always in my heart, my Father in Heaven,the Savior,  my daddy in Heaven, my SON, of course my family here on earth and in the Heavens above... I guess just OVERALL grateful for the life that I live... HALLELUJAH! 

This past week I was blessed to spend some time with my cousins and helping one prepare for the midnight showing of BREAKING DAWN. yes, I know, we are mid-30s but come on, a girls gotta have a little fun and most of all, spend it with some cool chicks who feel the same way... I missed my sister but she was there in spirit all the way from INDEPMO! Thanks to Amy & Penina for putting together a great shin-dig. Good times and good laughs with Kehau, Audrey, Laine, Amber S., and all the other ladies who came. It was awesome and I cant wait to see Part 2! My shirt was the winner (thanks to my awesome sister) it said... "Bella, Hurry up and Die already!!! " -Renei Maine Black

Its amazing how the LORD works in all HIS glory and the best part about it is that HE blesses you with the opportunity to meet certain people in your life that will change you for the better and bless your life forever... Thank you BLU for being one of those kindred spirits who will continue to bless my life in many ways! Your smile was contagious, your heart immeasurable, your style untouchable and most of all, your spirit just like the Savior. I know having you in Heaven is like a non-stop celebration... please send my Dad my love and give him a huge hug from me and let him know that we are trying down here!!! Mizzou with the Fuis

I guess I shouldve taken more pics while in Mizzou with the FUIS but I was too busy laughing with my sister that I didnt have time... it was one of those MUST NEEDED trips for me! I loved it! so nice to be with her and feel of her wonderful spirit and of course my Noahboi and Nifo... oh how I miss them! my son loves his older brother and its a different vibe in Mizzou so it took him a couple of days to adjust but eventually he did and he was off and running.

the LORD knows me so well... how blessed am I to have a wonderful family, here on earth and in the Heavens. I felt an overwhelming sense of urgency to visit my sister and it was just to solidify the amazing relationship that we have and will continue to have. Part of my heart is with her always because I always feel like I leave it there when we part but thats what makes the heart grow fonder... right? not a broken heart, just a piece left behind with someone so precious and worthy to hold it. I love that about her... she will be with me in the eternities and I know that Heavenly Father put us together for that divine purpose, she will help me get there, the ultimate journey!

The Famous Pumpkin Patch...

So we attempted the pumpkin patch... oh what fun! =) i think... I hadnt been in years but my son seemed to love it, especially at the fact that he thinks that everything that is round is a ball and needs to be thrown...
Overall it was a great couple of hours with the fam (Cin, Mika, Tua,& the Faletois) love the bonding! Looking forward to our trip next year... lol! am i?
